Good news! Katie is back from a sabbatical year with her family in the Czech Republic, and has picked up her musical trail with MudLark and The Vocal Art Ensemble, and has lots of new musical projects brewing! Freshly inspired by a 2-week Community Choir Leaderhip Training program in beautiful Victoria, British Colombia, Katie continues to co-direct the new Patwin Elementary School Chorus with fellow MudLark member Laura Sandage. They are also about to launch a new community choir in Davis called "The Free Range Singers," so stay tuned on the choir front.

Late October will bring Katie back up to Eugene, Oregon, for the Far West Regional Folk Alliance Confererce and a great songwriters-in-the-round gig at Sam Bond's Garage with dear old musical friends Laura Kemp and Peter Wilde on Sunday, October 23. Come on over if you're in Eugene for the weekend!

Katie's Laughing Tree Music musical play classes and Education Through Music (ETM) teaching are alive and kicking in Davis, California, and we can come sing and play with your group too! Contact Laughing Tree Music directly to set up lessons or a session!
